1001 NIGHTS

A performance- reading of the famous collection of stories, taking place in an arabian nomadic tent.
With a combination of dance, live music, story-telling and shadowplay we are taking the audience to a journey into an illusionary world.
I am connecting in my choreographies the rhythmic, dynamic footwork and geometrical bodylines of indian dance with smooth, ornamented movements which derive from oriental expressive dance.
